Fracking Hearing — IL Senate Environment Committee

What: Fracking Hearing — IL Senate Environment Committee
When: Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Where: Michael Bilandic Building, 160 N. LaSalle Street, Chicago, IL 60601

The hearing will be a stand-off between a panel of industry supporters and anti-fracking advocates. Attendants can submit written comments, and we will provide “dis/approval flags” to give the audience a chance to make their position known.

We know the fossil fuel industry is going to pack the house to encourage lawmakers to tear down safety standards and make their permitting process easier.

That’s why we need to BEAT the industry turnout numbers to show that Illinoisans know fracking is an unsafe, outdated and dirty industry. Will you be there?

The dirty energy giants of the world have millions of dollars to lobby our lawmakers, but we have the people power to stop them dead in their tracks! It’s time to demand a 100% renewable energy future for our state and our country instead.

Help us send the message loud and clear: Illinois Demands Clean Energy
